Figuring that running one record label wasn’t going to give him enough headaches, Semprini Records owner and former drummer of the cult 80's hardcore band Hazy Azure decided to throw his whole life away for music and started Signed By Force Records during the fall of 2007.A vet of the punk/rawk/metal scene in Montreal, he knew that if he was going down, it was not going to be gently or quietly, fuck no!
First he forged the label’s sound by signing the rawest and dirtiest heavy rock outfits around, and then blew up the Canadian scene by simultaneously releasing three balls-out recordings by Bionic, Starvin Hungry and Trigger Effect.

Adding kerosene to the fire, SBF expanded its musical arsenal by continuing to recruit bands that push the limits of hard rock and punk while further widening the label’s scope of heaviness.
SBF does not however restrict itself to lighting up the future of heavy rock. Looking to past trailblazers, SBF is getting ready to unleash a series of explosive compilations and reissues of rare material from Canada's scorched past of post punk, hardcore, speed metal and punk rock
