<bio>
Guitarist Jonathan Cummins formed Bionic ten years ago after he left legendary A&M recording artists The Doughboys. In 1998, they released their self-titled debut co-produced by Glen Robinson (The Ramones, Voivod) to critical acclaim. After years of touring across Canada, Europe and the States alongside such artists as Tricky Woo, Priestess, Nashville Pussy, Danko Jones and even Kiss, Bionic released their second album “Deliverance” to even greater praise. The shining review in the world’s foremost metal magazine Kerrang! led to a sold out performance at their South By Southwest debut.

Being one of Canada’s hardest touring bands hasn’t stopped the members of Bionic from pursuing equally acclaimed side projects including session work and live performances with The Besnard Lakes and Le Nombre as well as Jonathan’s acclaimed production work for Tricky Woo, Starvin Hungry and The Hot Springs.
</bio>

    <bio>
The Valleyfield, Quebec duo consisting of guitarist & bilingual singer Martin Höek, and drummer David Dugas Dion’s perverse, math-punk onslaught comes out this summer on CD, LP & digital formats.

Originally self-released, the new version of the debut album “Ero Gaki” has been remixed and mastered to come as close as possible to the sonic assault of their live shows. The frenetic juxtaposition of The Jesus Lizard, Devo, Aphex Twin, The Melvins and Naked City coming from just two musicians is something that needs to be both seen and heard, in order to be believed.

    <bio>
Devil Eyes have been carving their name into the underbelly of Montreal's rock scene since early 2006. Their music is a raw and lean explosion of garage, no wave, klezmer, noise, blues, metal and Japanese punk, yet they somehow manage to make sense out of the chaos in a joyfully ear shattering ream of songs. The trio have been making their own style of experimental dance punk, but check influences like Motorhead, Guitar Wolf, Bob Log III, Comets on Fire, Les Rallizes Dénudés and Captain Beefheart as well as bands like ESG and The Contortions.

Matt, Emily and Zen respectively play guitar, bass and drums in Devil Eyes and they all sing. The fierce trio of rockers spent the last few years honing their sound together in the local scene, sharing the stage with the likes of Bob Log III, The Zoobombs, Bison BC and Dark Meat. The raw immediacy of their recorded tracks underline their live shows which have inspired both dance parties and moshpits, fried PA systems, demolished drum kits, and smashed, drilled and bullwhipped guitars.

    <bio>
Formed in 1999, Fiftywatthead are definitely not overnight sensations. The Windsor, Ontario quartet had previously released two monstrous albums: “Volume One” and “Rock n Roll Killer” before finally unleashing their latest installment on Signed By Force…..“Fogcutter”.

Listening to the beat down on the title track “Fogcutter” or the seething vitriol contained on “Capsized” it’s no wonder these molten metal miscreants would come from a town right across the river from Detroit, Michigan. Fiftywatthead manage to drown out everything in the known universe with a racket of detuned guitars, pounding and plodding drums and vintage amps turned up to eleven that will make most so called “metal” bands seem laughable and puny by comparison. With Metal now moving in too many directions to even keep up with, Fiftywatthead are hands down the most lethal and crushing band to come out of the Great White North, let alone Windsor. Utilizing the noise of mid nineties Amphetamine Reptile bands while mixing in a Neurosis sense of panorama and the technical elbow grease of Mastodon, they’ve managed to cook up their own signature sound that has given them the reputation of being Canada’s heaviest band. This is pure brutality that could give a fuck about being your facebook friend… nope; they just want to crush your cranium in.

“Fogcutter” contains all of the ballast of a sock full of nickels with psychedelic flourishes hiding behind every dark corner while letting every wallop ooze, drawing blood while traveling the most unlikely roads.

This is brutal, pounding, devastating, hateful, seething, agonizing and heavy as fuck! Clamp on a pair of headphones and let Fiftywatthead completely shell you out and leave you completely empty. You puny humans deserve nothing less!

    <bio>
What is No No Zero?

No No Zero is the carpet burn no one asks you to explain.

No No Zero is the secret stash at the back of your closet.

No No Zero is what you flush down the toilet when the doorbell rings.

No No Zero is your giddy glee at the end.

Initially self released as vinyl only by this Toronto based band, we were so impressed by this album that we decided to let the rest of the world know about it. It's like we were in on the best kept secret and felt guilty not telling everyone else about it. No No Zero's strange cross pollination of punk rock and sexual verse defies categorization.

No No Zero features former & present members of The Exploders, Bush League, Deutsche Banks, DCT and Quest For Fire. The band's pedigree continues the line of Toronto's rich, vibrant and legendary output of unique punk bands going as far back as The Diodes to the more recently defunct The Deadly Snakes.
</bio>

    <bio>
Nutsak is indeed a mixed bag of nuts: a francophone, an anglophone, an arab and a jew coming together to make music like a microcosm of a utopian society. Founding members Sam Shalabi (The Shalabi Effect, Detention, David Kristian/Shalabi/St. Onge) and Chris Burns (Crackpot, GlassBurns, Terminal Sunglasses, Ratchet Orchestra) played their first Nutsak show in 1996 yet have never recorded an album under this name until now. Their recording debut comes in the shape of a two-song 7" single and is also available on all your favorite download sites.

The band's wide variety of original songs dip into the realms of be-bop, klezmer, punk, jazz, balladry, metal, country, blues, Motown, classic rock, improv, surf, and noise but always come out in the distinctive Nutsak style. The full length album "Failed Musician" was released in July 2009 and was recorded by Jace Lasek of The Besnard Lakes with the artwork designed by drummer / cartoonist Howard Chackowicz. The album will be available on CD and download formats.

    <bio>
The brainchild of Roy Vucino, aka Choyce (CPC Gangbangs, The Daylight Lovers, Les Sexareenos), Red Mass took shape in 2008 following the inevitable implosion of the volatile and legendary CPC Gangbangs. Using Red Mass as a platform, Choyce and his collaborators are intent to pursue the ideals of free thinking, the use of chaos, sex-magik and liberation through art. The ever evolving line-up and contributors to Red Mass consist of musicians from Demon's Claws, Chocolat, Hot Springs, Black Feelings, Sunday Sinners, Vicious / Delicious and Ghost Limbs to name a few.

Through his prolific exploits, Choyce has helped give Montreal's flourishing garage and rock n' roll scenes international recognition. Having fronted CPC Gangbangs, he now also records and tours with long time collaborator Mark Sultan (Sup Pop, In The Red).

Now, Red Mass has opened itself to all with a sincere belief that it can offer young artists and outsiders alike a new haven. With a slew of singles, 10"s, EPs and experimental releases, Red Mass is ready to hit. Their psychedelic space rock 'n' roll and its elements of noise, folk, punk and electronic music is a culmination of 12 years of hard work. The dark poppy hooks, laced with other worldy sound effects, are at once an ode to the past, the music of today, and the shape of rock 'n' roll to come.

    <bio>
Starvin Hungry was originally formed in 1996 by John Milchem and his twin brother Glen (drummer for Blue Rodeo) as a two piece band. With the departure of brother Glen, Starvin Hungry eventually morphed into a four piece band that toured extensively across Canada and played alongside acts like The Sadies, Deadly Snakes, The Black Keys, Andre Williams and Bob Mould just to name a few. After numerous line up changes that featured members of D.O.A., SNFU, Tricky Woo and Soft Canyon they finally released their debut album "Damnesty" produced by Bionic's frontman Jonathan Cummins and engineered by the Besnard Lakes' Jace Lasek in 2003. After four years of constant touring and packing their live shows with sweaty girls dancing their asses off, John finally got around to finishing their second album "Cold Burns" in early 2007.
</bio>

    <bio>
The Nymphets like playing live and listening to pop records. They don't really care that sometimes they fuck up because they're too busy making progress and getting serious work done to learn to play it perfectly. Their music is inspired by early punk rock as well as British pop music (and some total crap from North America). They are also influenced by their own interests and (often nasty) temperaments.
</bio>

    <bio>
Since Montreal's Trigger Effect formed in 2003 they have played over one hundred self booked shows in the last year alone in addition to three North American tours. The band recorded, released and sold their debut album "Dare To Ride The Heliocraft" independently before being coerced into a contract of re-releasing the album with additional artwork provided by the friendly folks at Signed By Force.

Using the professional moniker Turbo Machine Enterprises, their prolific exploits have included organizing and promoting the annual "Fear And Loathing In Montreal" festival, the literal battle of the bands "Rock Fight",at the underground venue Turbo Haus as well as booking their own tours. The band even filmed their own innovative stop-motion music video for the song "Scientific Method" using over 1300 individual photos.
