The Nymphets

The Nymphets like playing live and listening to pop records. They don't really care that sometimes they fuck up because they're too busy making progress and getting serious work done to learn to play it perfectly. Their music is inspired by early punk rock as well as British pop music (and some total crap from North America). They are also influenced by their own interests and (often nasty) temperaments.
"I See"
Hot on the heels of their sold out debut 7" single, The Nymphets have whipped up another three relentless tracks all clocking under the two minute mark... as every good punk song should be.
Formed in Montreal back in 2004 and having since relocated to Brooklyn, the trio's frantic live sets and their late 70's /early 80's British punk sound have blown away audiences across Canada, Europe and the U.S. in support of Jay Retard, Fucked Up, Night Marchers, CPC Gangbangs, The Death Set and Wooden Shjips.
Their twangy "pop punk" is a direct descendent of the melodic sensibilities of the Undertones and Buzzcocks, the incessant drive of the Ramones, the trashiness of Supercharger along with the unadulterated geekiness that they call their own. Their latest installment brings forth two brand new songs and a fiery take on The Troggs classic "With A Girl Like You", guaranteed to make you flip this single over again and again, and again. This vinyl slab is limited to 500 copies only!
