Hot off the presses!

Yes, the rumors are true... the Devil Eyes 7" inch singles have arrived at the SBF headquarters...and just in the nick of time! 

The limited pressing of 500 copies includes an EXTRA-limited pressing of just 100 singles on RED VINYL! These are being sold exclusively at Devil Eyes' live shows and thru our online store (once it's finally up and running...*gulp*...sorry) The red vinyl singles also contain a hand-drawn 12 page comic book by the group!

Montreal's Devil Eyes Debut on SBF

The post punk/garage/hardcore/swamp blues/metal trio has been kickin' around town for a while now, and are finally releasing their yet to be named debut album. You may be one of the lucky few who picked up their concrete cased CDR at their live shows but the band's first official release will be a 7" single for "Rip My Heart Out" b/w the Johnny Kidd and the Pirates cover "Please Don't Touch" out in July 2009. The Hour's Brendan Murphy best captures the band's winning formula as "...songs that make you want to pound beer, have seizures and stab people".

How could we not sign that???

The full length comes out in the fall of 2009.

Love 'n' 7 inches

Following the recent nuptials of Devil Eyes' Matt Kober and Emily Jayne, the Montreal trio (the third member being Zen Nakamura) are set to release their first 7" single "Rip My Heart Out" in July.
